Off-Shift Manufacturing Operations Manager

Our braids are used in a variety of applications ranging from automobile side impact airbags to jet engine stator vanes and from hockey sticks to prosthetics. Current R&D programs involve the use of braid in structures of unprecedented scale, such as fan cases, rocket nozzles and commercial transport airframes.

A&P Technology’s success has created the need for an Off-Shift Manufacturing Operations Manager. The Off-Shift Manufacturing Operations Manager will manage A&P’s 2nd and 3rd shift manufacturing operations. They will be responsible for maintaining efficient and consistent manufacturing operations during 2nd and 3rd shift across various production areas and buildings. They will manage a team of operators, maintenance, and team leads to ensure safety, schedules, quality and efficiency are maintained while resolving any roadblocks that may impede the team’s mission.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure efficient production through providing solutions, material planning, rate monitoring, and coordination
• Represent a balanced, customer centric, quality focused, service-to-others mindset
• Provide hiring and equipment recommendations
• Analyze production data to guide production planning decisions
• Collaborate with 1st shift operations to ensure seamless flow of projects on all shifts
• Coordinate 2nd and 3rd shift maintenance and PM projects

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field
• 6+ Years manufacturing operations experience
• 3+ Years manager experience
• Experience with lean manufacturing and data analytics
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong troubleshooting experience with a passion for problem solving
• Self-motivated, dedicated, and authentic personality willing to work in fast paced, dynamic environment
• Flexibility to work during off-shift operations
