to expand our award winning teams at multiple locations!
THE AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN IS VITALLY IMPORTANT! The Automotive Service Technician is a skilled employee who diagnoses, repairs, installs, replaces, and services various types of vehicles. The Technician’s expertise in completing their tasks correctly the first time, creates a memorable customer experience and builds the trust our customers place in the Uftring Auto Group.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Keep up to date with industry knowledge and training. Chrysler certification specializing in Diesel and Heavy Duty preferred.
Use of problem-solving skills daily. Automotive issues are not determined on the surface.
Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Accurately document the work performed and applicable technical information.
Review vehicle history files and test drive with customers when necessary.
Maintain regular attendance at shop meetings.
QUALITIES FOR SUCCESS
Prior service experience or education is preferred.
Good knowledge of various make and model vehicles.
A friendly, positive attitude with a professional appearance.
Good attendance record.
Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
Possess a valid IL driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday- 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Rotating Saturdays (once every 6 weeks) from 7:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
