Wag Days Pet Resort: Dog Daycare Attendant Position

Position: Dog Daycare Attendant

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and ensure the safety of all dogs during daycare activities.
  • Engage with dogs through play and structured activities to promote a positive experience.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment throughout the facility.
  • Monitor dog behavior and manage group play dynamics effectively.
  • All staff must adhere to our ethical and professional handling standards.
  • Communicate with pet owners to provide updates on their pets.
  • Assist with grooming and feeding as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in pet care or handling dogs is preferred but not required.
  • Must have a genuine love for dogs and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Excellent communication and observational skills.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation:

  • $16-$18 per hour, based on experience.
  • Paid training. We work as a team, and all of us follow the same dog handling protocols.
  • Weekly pay and pooled gratuity are paid as a quarterly bonus.
  • Performance reviews and bonuses.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
