Job Description

Peregrine Team is hiring for  Staff Accountant in  Irvine, CA . This position is a  full-time, contract-to-hire role with full benefits and competitive pay.

$35 - $50/hour

Job Duties:

• Manage accounts payable processes and reporting, including month-end close and vendor relations
• Lead AP improvements, backlog reduction, and GRIR clearing
• Support general accounting tasks, including capital projects and internal reporting
• Assist with fixed asset tracking and inventory
• Coordinate banking activities and general ledger consolidation
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and process standards
• Provide support for employee reimbursements, PCARD, and tax-related matters

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Proficient in SAP (FICO, PS) and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to communicate effectively across teams
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and adaptable
