The Sushi Stand Liberty in San Juan Capistrano, CA is looking for one sushi chef to join our 13 person strong team. We are located on 31856 Paseo Adelanto Red Barn Ste 106. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working.

Responsibilities
•Prepare sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi following standard recipes and instructions.
•Assist in cutting fish, vegetables, and other ingredients as needed.
•Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
•Set up and restock sushi station before, during, and after service.
•Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi prep area, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
•Follow portioning and presentation standards.
•Communicate effectively with sushi chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications
Some experience as a sushi cook, sushi prep, or general kitchen line cook (will train the right candidate).
•Basic knowledge of sushi preparation, knife handling, and food safety.
•Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
•Good teamwork and communication skills
•Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
•Food Handler’s card/certification (if required).
