Job Description

Bring your culinary expertise to the next level! As a Sous Chef, you will assist in leading the kitchen team to produce high-quality, delicious food while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen. You will oversee food preparation, support menu development, and ensure the highest culinary standards are met at all times.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional high volume kitchen
• Familiarity of fresh catering cooking operations in multiple areas
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule throughout the year including, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, nutrition and sanitation regulations
• Proficiency in kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
• Ability to lead and train kitchen staff

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure efficient food preparation
• Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control standards
• Assist in menu planning and execution
• Monitor kitchen inventory and coordinate ordering
• Enforce food safety and sanitation protocols
• Train and develop kitchen team members
• Support executive chef in daily kitchen operations
