Job Title : Software Engineer Mid-Level with Kronos Workforce Central (WFC), UKG Pro

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• System Design & Development : Design, configure, and develop features and services for Kronos Workforce Central (WFC) , UKG Pro WFM , and Kronos Workforce Integrations Manager (WIM) to optimize business processes related to workforce operations, productivity, and product flow.
• Collaborative Engineering : Work within the Workforce Management Scrum Team and the Global Back of Stores Agile Release Train to deliver technology solutions across North American and European markets.
• Technical Ownership : Own the technology aspect of global workforce management systems, ensuring integrations are developed and monitored effectively. Contribute to system configurations and enhancements for seamless operations.
• Code Quality & Troubleshooting : Write efficient code, review peer work, and assist engineers with debugging and troubleshooting technical challenges.
• Collaboration : Collaborate with Solution Engineers, Product Managers, and Stores Engineering teams to design, develop, and support key software components, ensuring they align with business priorities.
• Continuous Improvement : Contribute to the overall roadmap, support the adoption of new technologies, and drive improvements in process efficiency, platform availability, and recoverability.
• Security Compliance : Adhere to corporate security standards and ensure compliance with high availability and recoverability requirements for the platform.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Application Developer.
• Hands-on experience with WFC and UKG Pro WFM (required).
• Proficiency in Kronos Workforce Integrations Manager (WIM) and Kronos infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of SaaS and on-prem integrations , configuration, and testing.
• Proven experience in object-oriented design (OOD) and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Workforce Central , UKG Pro WFM Time & Attendance , Schedule Optimization , and related applications.
• Database experience (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, CosmosDB, etc.).
• Experience using Agile and DevOps tools such as Git/Gitlab , SonarQube , JIRA , and Confluence .
• Familiarity with Workday HRIS and integration with time and attendance systems.
• Knowledge of retail business processes and systems integration.

Work Environment:

• Fully remote position with flexible working hours.
• Global IT company, collaborating across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia.
• Expected start time: 8 AM EST (with flexibility for deployments and daily tasks).
• 40-hour workweek , with occasional flexibility for deployments.
