What you'll do: The Sr. Teller/Banker is the front line and most visible role within the branch. Charged primarily with performing transactions across the teller line, the Banker/Teller has the opportunity to be the most useful person in our “Memorable Experience” business model. Getting to know the customer, recognizing faces, and remembering names are all critical to the success of the model. The Banker/Teller is most often the representative of the bank when delivering on the “Memorable Experience” to customers who utilize our branch on a regular basis
  • Assist all team members in the efficient handling of member needs and their cash drawers.
  • Must be able to perform all teller responsibilities at a very high skill level while ensuring the clients in the branch are serviced with our excellent customer service standards.
  • Review and check the work of other team members as needed and assist in the resolution of cash drawer or transaction issues.
  • Responsible to record the daily balances and verify cash totals.
  • Complete required monthly/daily reports and records accurately and promptly, along with daily/monthly audits.
  • Ability to multitask is a must as this role is responsible for maintaining the branch's cash levels within the outlined policy and procedures, balancing and maintaining the Vault and the ATM.
  • Knowledgeable in a broad variety of member service functions such as assisting with account opening, account issues, account maintenance, and answering customer questions regarding our sales office service.
  • Ability to sell financial products and services to clients or refer them to other areas of the bank.
  • Resolve difficult situations quickly and efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible to complete daily research on accounts and account documentation to ensure all regulations and policies are followed accordingly.
  • What do you need?
    • Bank telling experience preferred, not required.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer facing role with proven customer service experience preferred.
    • HS Diploma required.
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a strong desire to deliver exceptional customer service, which results in creating memorable experiences for our customers.
    • Ability to understand and adhere to all security and dual control procedures and maintain confidentiality of bank records and depositor information.
    • Ability to recognize customer issues through active listening, and if necessary, know when to raise the issue to the appropriate level of management.
    • Ability to multitask and a strong attention to detail are required to complete customer transactions quickly and accurately with no errors.
    • Time management skills are essential to meet workload demands.
