Barbier Security Group (BSG) is a rapidly growing Bay Area based security services company. Founded in 2007 Barbier Security Group has been tasked with providing custom protective security programs for individuals, government organizations and private companies. Barbier Security Group (BSG) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Supervisor to oversee our team of security personnel in various locations. The ideal candidate will be able to support scheduling, conduct site checks, improve employee performance, and handle dispatch calls. Field Supervisor will be responsible for providing and ensuring a high level of quality control, compliance and professionalism with Officers and Incident responders out in the field. They are also responsible for training current and new hires to the highest standards to meet all company and site protocols.This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. Field Supervisor responsibilities (but not limited to): - Manage the scheduling of security personnel across multiple sites
- Conduct site checks to ensure that security personnel are performing their duties effectively
- Develop and implement plans to improve employee performance and address any performance issues
- Handle dispatch calls and ensure that security personnel are deployed in a timely and efficient manner
- Communicate regularly with clients to ensure that their security needs are being met
- Promote the value of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in all interactions
- Respond to critical incidents on and around BSG sites to include: emergencies, evacuations, company policy violations, while working with law enforcement
- Monitor and analyze security metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Maintain accurate records of all security activities and incidents
Minimum qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required, associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- You must be at least 21 years of age to be considered for this role
- 3 years Supervisory, Regional or Account Manager experience preferred
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous Security, Law Enforcement, Military or related Public Safety experience
- Handcuff, pepper spray, and baton certification preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Knowledge of security systems and procedures preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driver's history for the past three years
Physical Demands and Work Environment: - Ability to perform duties on assigned routes/sites while sitting, walking and/or standing at a post for extended periods of time on various surfaces (concrete, carpet, stairs etc.)
- Must be able to work outdoors in all conditions with provided inclement weather gear
- Must be able to move 50 lbs.
