Job Description

ERP SAVVY is seeking a highly experienced SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the SAP Production Planning module, extensive experience in project management, and a proven track record of successful SAP PP implementations.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand business requirements to customize the SAP PP module accordingly.
• Design, configure, and test the SAP PP module to align with the company's production and planning processes.
• Develop test scripts and conduct unit testing to ensure the functionality of the SAP PP module.
• Provide training and guidance to end-users to ensure effective use of the SAP PP module.
• Coordinate with other SAP module consultants for cross-functional configurations and integrations.
• Perform regular system checks and troubleshoot any issues that arise with the SAP PP module.
• Document all processes, configurations, and updates made to the SAP PP module.
• Stay updated with the latest developments and updates in SAP PP and implement them as required.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the production planning process.
• Provide post-implementation support, including solving end-user problems and handling system enhancements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP PP configuration, customization, and implementation.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP PP module and S/4HANA.
• Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning.
• Proficiency in integrating SAP PP with other modules like MM (Material Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and FICO (Finance and Controlling).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in project management and team leadership.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in SAP PP or related modules.
• Experience with SAP PP in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of the latest SAP PP features and functionality.
