Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite for our client in Chelmsford, MA, Interested?

Here's what you'll do:    

• Seeking experienced RF Engineer to provide production build support for wideband receiver CCAs and assembly up to 18 GHz. 
• This includes troubleshooting of productions failures, identification of corrective actions, disposition of issues through re-work and re-test.
• Architects and designs Radio Frequency systems and circuitry. 
• Designs and develops RF circuitry used in high frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers. 
• Responsible for hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and test. 
• Prepares test methods and specifications; analyzes and tests RF hardware to verify performance characteristics. 
• Provides inputs to Product Development for formal documentation and supports manufacturing during the deliverable assembly and test phase. 
• In addition, develops RF System/Subsystem Architectures consisting of antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements and transmission line equipment. 
• Performs link analysis and optimization, including effects of propagation medium and possible interference sources. Develops and allocates RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements. 
• Identifies and tracks RF technical performance measurements (TPMs). 
• Performs RF system/subsystem/component trade studies and CAIV analysis.
• Supports Life Cycle Costs, reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis.

Pay:  $89.81 /hr

Hours:  4/10A-1st Shift

Length: Contract (8 Months).

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree 
• Minimum of 6 years' experience with RF test equipment and RF hardware verification
• Minimum of 6 years' experience with RF production support
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in RF Probe Station 

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Experience in RF circuit design and RF PCB design up to 18 GHz
• Experience in ADS or AWR Microwave Office
• Experience in full-wave simulation/analysis (HFSS or CST)
• Commercial RF design experience
