About the Role:

As a Nurse Advocate, you'll be a consistent resource for patients throughout their program participation. You'll assess for any barriers to therapy initiation and completion, provide education and support, and empower patients to actively engage in their care. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine desire to advocate for patients' well-being.

A Day in the Life:

Serve as a dedicated point of contact for patients, guiding them through the program services and addressing any challenges they may face.
Educate patients about their prescribed therapy, including benefits and potential side effects (based on manufacturer information).
Assist patients in understanding and navigating insurance coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and available financial assistance resources.
Provide support to help patients manage the emotional and practical aspects of their diagnosis.
Empower patients to actively participate in their care and connect them with additional support services as needed.
Report any adverse events or product complaints in accordance with established procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:

Clinical nursing experience with demonstrated competence in patient education and management, particularly for those with new diagnoses or chronic medical conditions.
Knowledge of the clinical aspects of relevant disease states, including therapy protocols and prescribing algorithms.
General computer skills.

RN license in Indiana or Kentucky.
2-3 years of nursing experience, with relevant disease state experience preferred.
Experience in nurseline triage, call center utilization management, or call center case management (a plus).
Case management or clinical trial nurse experience (a plus).
Bachelor's degree preferred.
