Registered Nurse – Pediatric Primary Care Nurse

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with at least 1-2 years of experience in pediatric primary care or outpatient settings.
• PALS and BLS certification required.
• Strong ability to educate families on childhood illnesses, vaccinations, and nutrition.
• Excellent assessment, communication, and patient engagement skills.

Duties:

• Perform routine pediatric assessments and administer immunizations.
• Assist physicians with well-child check-ups, sick visits, and minor procedures.
• Educate parents on childhood development, safety, and preventive care.
• Provide support for chronic condition management, such as asthma and diabetes.
• Document patient interactions accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Ensure adherence to infection prevention and child wellness protocols.
• Assist in the referral process for specialty pediatric care as needed.

Pay:

• Medium weekly pay range: $1,850 - $2,350
