Job Description

We are searching for an enthusiastic, service-focused part-time hotel front desk agent to join our guest services team. You’ll welcome guests, manage accounts, answer inquiries, and field complaints to ensure we deliver an excellent experience to every guest. You will bring excellent communication skills and a passion for putting our guests first. We are also looking for someone interested in working part-time in our breakfast department. You will be responsible for maintaining customer service and product quality standards for our deluxe complimentary breakfast. This is a dual role position. • Welcome, register, check-in, and check out guests staying at the hotel, provide keys and room numbers, and record credit card information
• Work with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests
• Field customer complaints when necessary
• Answer incoming calls and questions about guests’ needs in-person and online regarding room bookings, room rates, amenities, available rooms, rewards programs, and special requests
• When working as a breakfast attendant, be attentive to the guests' needs.
• Restocking breakfast food, drinks, and supplies as needed.
• Able to take down breakfast, clean up from breakfast, and ready the kitchen for the next day. At the close of the breakfast, clean all tables, clean and mop the breakfast area and kitchen, empty the trash receptacles, store or dispose of all drinks, food items, and supplies in accordance with operating standards and health codes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain cleanliness in the breakfast room and kitchen area.
• Maintain a professional and friendly attitude to our guests: Greeting guests upon arrival and thanking them upon departure.

Qualifications:

• Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills
• Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations
• 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Exhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
• Guest service experience is a plus.
• Food service experience is a plus.
