Job Description

Our Team
Cimpress Technology develops cutting-edge, best-in-world software that our mass customization businesses use to create personalized products for over 17 million global customers. Our Mass Customization Platform is comprised of modular, multi-tenant services. Our businesses can choose the solutions that work for them, or assemble any custom combination they need. This makes it easier and faster to do things like introduce new products, reach customers and track orders. And this kind of innovation keeps customers coming back. Just last year, Cimpress generated $2.88B in revenue through customized print products, signage, apparel, packaging and more.

We encourage our engineers to think like an owner – to continue to act small as we grow. Every team defines their own roadmaps, and uses the programming languages and technologies that suit them best. This helps us have a big impact at the enterprise level while still feeling small and nimble.

What You Will Do
As Privacy Counsel, you will play a key role in Cimpress’ global privacy program, working within an international team to support our organization’s compliance with U.S. privacy laws and regulations and contributing to the group’s overall privacy strategy. Your responsibilities include:

  • Providing advice on privacy compliance for cookies, analytics, and tracking technologies, ensuring alignment with U.S. regulatory requirements.
  • Leading cross-functional privacy compliance projects, including building privacy operations processes such as DSAR, implementing privacy frameworks within Cimpress business units, and data mapping initiatives.
  • Supporting the design, implementation, and enhancement of privacy programs, including the operationalization of privacy principles and processes.
  • Working closely with global privacy team members to support the implementation and management of international privacy programs within the business units.
  • Conducting training and raising awareness on privacy compliance topics for teams across Cimpress and the business units.
  • Collaborating with product, developers, engineers, HR, and other teams to embed practical privacy solutions into operations and software development lifecycles.
  • Staying up to date on evolving U.S. privacy laws and enforcement trends, communicating potential impacts to stakeholders.
  • Participating and leading Incident response investigations and notifications to authorities

At Cimpress, we are striving to hire individuals that add new ideas and perspectives to our teams and enhance our culture. No matter your background or work experience, we strongly encourage you to apply—even if you feel that you don’t meet the exact requirements or have the same qualifications. You might be a great candidate for this or other opportunities.

  • A practical, business-oriented approach to privacy compliance and risk management.
