Part-Time Physical Therapist (PT) for 2024-2025 School Year

We are currently hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) to support one of our partner schools in Susquehanna, PA! The selected PT will provide exceptional care to students with diverse physical and cognitive needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving the lives of children and possess the skills to create and implement effective therapy plans in the educational setting. Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Provide direct physical therapy services and interventions to a caseload of 30+ students.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for students.
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
• Hours would fluctuate between 15-18 hours per week, based on IEPs.
• Assist with positioning and accessibility as indicated.

Qualifications:

• Conferred degree from an accredited Physical Therapy educational program.
• Valid Physical Therapist License issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Experience working with children is required.
• Experience within the school setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Range : $50/hour - $55/hour (based on qualifications and experience).
