We are Florida's premier residential construction law firm for homeowners. We handle construction disputes through all phases of pre-litigation and litigation in Florida state and Federal courts. We are on track for aggressive growth. We are looking for a fully remote Paralegal who has the legal drafting skills of a lawyer and is familiar with the U.S. legal system. This Paralegal will work on pre-litigation and litigation files. On pre-litigation files, you will draft and compile demand packages. On litigation matters, you will mostly perform legal research and legal writing/drafting of memoranda, motions, and pleadings. Our office is in Boca Raton, Florida, but this job can be performed from anywhere in the world. Experience with Florida Courts is a plus. Experience with Construction Law is a double-plus. • Performing online factual research
• Performing legal research and drafting motions, memoranda, and pleadings.
• Drafting demand packages (pre-litigation)
• Supporting our other professionals in maintaining our database of electronic files
• Opening and closing files in our Case Management Software (Clio)

Qualifications:

• Experience with legal software, litigation case management, and docketing programs
• Ability to comfortably use all Microsoft Office products
• Candidates should have strong organizational skills and communication skills
• Able to meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Law Degree from a foreign country with a legal system similar to US or Great Britain
• Top-tier writing skills
• Incredible attention to detail
