Job Description

Responsible to create and maintain a feasible Master Production Schedule in line with company goals by partnering with other functional groups to meet on time deliveries and key performance indicators. Works to resolve (in case of design changes) labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions. Oversees the master schedules and ensures comprehensive compliance with materials requirements for manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, coordinate and monitor production line certification and ramp for new products by meeting with different teams regularly to understand product development progression status.
  • Creates and maintains a raw material and capacity feasible Master Production Schedule
  • Assesses demand trend, raw material shifts and capacity constraints to identify risks that could affect the continuity of the supply to prevent interruptions as well as excess to prevent obsolescence while planning a reliable and accurate supply.
  • Analyzes root cause of supply gaps to demand and communicates proactively and efficiently with stakeholders across the organization
  • Manages and maintains backlog CSDs in alignment to the latest supply plan.


Qualifications

  • BS or BA in a relevant field such as Supply chain Planning, Business, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in areas such as Supply Chain Planning, Production Scheduling or related.
  • Experience with MRP, ERP, advance planning tool (SAP, Kinaxis, Rapid Response is a plus).
  • Knowledge in manufacturing, planning processes, inventory analysis, forecast/demand.
  • Desired project management experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform in-depth data analysis
  • Ability to work in global team environment.
  • Strong communicator, verbally and written.


The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $89,100 - $172,100 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan, and certain roles are also eligible for additional awards, including recognition and stock.
