Job Description

Position Overview:

The Manager On Duty (MOD) is a critical leadership role within the organization, responsible for creating a patient-focused environment while also effectively managing and motivating the team. This individual will assist in the development and training of all MMTC associates, ensuring that each team member is equipped with current industry knowledge and aligned with company standards. The MOD will assume the responsibilities of the General Manager (GM) and Assistant General Manager (AGM) in their absence, acting as the GM and AGM for the opening and closing of the MMTC location. Additionally, this role is responsible for driving the store towards its goals, revenue targets, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Development: Assist in the development and training of MMTC associates to ensure they possess up-to-date knowledge of products, regulations, and customer service expectations.
  • Patient Experience: Maintain an outstanding patient experience by delivering exceptional customer service and leveraging advanced product knowledge.
  • Operational Oversight: Open and close the MMTC location as a key-holder, ensuring smooth operations during shifts.
  • Team Motivation: Support the team in achieving sales goals, revenue projections, and other store objectives by fostering a positive and motivating work environment.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all activities are in line with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Help manage the store's budget, ensuring operational expenses are controlled while meeting financial goals.
  • Problem Solving: Address operational challenges that arise during shifts, providing solutions and escalating issues to the GM/AGM as necessary.
  • Performance Recognition: Celebrate daily successes and promote a culture of recognition and team engagement.
  • Managerial Support: Assist in achieving the operational excellence and customer service standards set forth by the GM and AGM. Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership and decision-making ability, with a focus on motivating and guiding teams.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges efficiently.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail or a related customer service environment.
  • Strong customer service expertise, including cash handling and product knowledge.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must comply with all applicable legal and company regulations in the industry.
  • Must pass all required background checks, including fingerprinting.
