We are seeking an experienced blockchain developer to build a Layer 1 Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible blockchain from scratch. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and practical experience with Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZK), Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus mechanisms, and proficient in Golang.
Responsibilities:
Blockchain Development:
Design and develop a Layer 1 EVM-compatible blockchain from the ground up.
Implement Zero-Knowledge EVM (ZK-EVM) for enhanced privacy and scalability.
Consensus Mechanism:
Develop and integrate a robust Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism.
Tools and Infrastructure:
Develop a faucet to distribute test tokens.
Create a blockchain explorer for monitoring transactions and network status.
Documentation:
Provide comprehensive documentation for the blockchain architecture, ZK-EVM implementation, PoS consensus mechanism, and user/developer guides for the faucet and explorer.
Requirements:
Proven experience in developing blockchain technology, specifically with EVM and Zero-Knowledge Proofs.
Strong proficiency in Golang.
In-depth understanding of cryptographic principles and blockchain protocols.
Experience with Proof of Stake consensus mechanisms.
Ability to design and implement scalable and secure blockchain infrastructure.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with ZK-EVM implementation.
Familiarity with blockchain explorers and faucets.
Experience contributing to open-source blockchain projects.
Knowledge of other programming languages and blockchain platforms.
