We operate in 30+ district office locations across the United States, supporting industries ranging from retail and healthcare to education and restaurants. **Please text "ImpactFire" to 512-722-7592 to connect with Ember, Impact Fire's Recruiting Assistant, to learn more about this position and the company.** **Benefits of joining Impact Fire Services** When you join Impact Fire you will receive: + Competitive compensation + Pay is on a weekly cycle, every Friday + Career Advancement Opportunities + Competitive benefits, including healthcare, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off and holidays + Company paid short and long-term disability + Immediately vested in our 401(k) company match + Exceptional guidance and support from our managers + Collaborative culture & environment + Robust training opportunities with company reimbursement upon achieving required licensing + Apprenticeship programs for fire sprinkler, fire alarm and inspection positions + Opportunity to work alongside some of the best talent in the fire protection industry You will be learning how to use the Autosprink VR program that are used for fire sprinkler design. **JOB RESPONSIBILITES:** + Perform on-site surveys of existing fire sprinkler systems with accuracy + Draw systems in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible + Learn and Run hydraulic calculations (Autosprink VR) + Learn and Run then check stock listing for fabrication of new fire sprinkler systems (Autosprink VR) + Request plans and information from General Contractors and Architects + Build product data submittals **JOB REQUIREMENTS:** + 1 to 2 years design experience using Autosprink VR is required (see below) + Proficiency in the use of Autosprink VR is required + Must be able to follow directions + Must be comfortable asking questions + Must be able to read and understand blueprints + Prior experience using Autosprink VR is a plus **Preferred background but not required:** + Previous construction experience is a plus + A degree in Architectural and Engineering Computer Aided Design would be an acceptable alternative to on-the-job design experience Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
