Duration:
This internship program is seasonal during the summer months, with a start date of May 19 th and end date of August 8 th . Specific work schedules shall be determined by the department based on internship assignment and course requirements. 35 – 40 hours. In office. Internships are non-exempt positions.
Pay: Undergraduate Students: $18.00 per hour
Summer interns will not work more than forty (40) hours in an administrative work week

Responsibilities:

This internship provides comprehensive exposure to various aspects of human resources through a rotational program. Interns will gain hands-on experience in employee engagement initiatives, benefits administration, recruitment processes, and HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) management.

Ideal for students pursuing studies in human resources, business administration, or related fields, this role offers an opportunity to develop versatile HR skills and a deeper understanding of workplace dynamics in a professional environment.

 

Qualifications:
  • Current Student or Recent Graduate: Interns must be currently enrolled in a program of study or a recent graduate (within 12 months) from an accredited college/university or technical/vocational institution and be in good academic standing. Transcripts are required as a supplement to this application.
  • Cover Letter: Applicants must submit an essay expressing their interest in the program and what they hope to gain from their experience. The essay should be in Microsoft Word and not exceed one page. The essay is required as a supplement to this application.
  • Background Check: Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen.


Interns must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be punctual with reliable transportation, have a strong work ethic and maintain confidentiality when required.
