Job Description

JOB SUMMARY and QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of a technical school program or state apprenticeship program.
• Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience as an Electrician, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Formal training in electrical theory and safety.
• Knowledge and experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Understanding of industrial motor control, AC/DC systems, inverter drives, holding circuits, and overload protection.
• Capable of troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and wiring basic electrical components such as relays, starters, motors, drives, and switches.
• Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Proficiency with common electrical tools, including multi-meters, wire strippers/crimpers, EMT benders, and threaders.
• Mechanical aptitude to disassemble and assemble basic machine components using common hand tools.
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Rockwell Automation SLC500 systems.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program.
• Electrical License (e.g., E-2 License).

Job Details:

• Job Type: Full-time
• Salary: $33.00–$38.00 per hour
• Schedule:
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Evening or night shifts
  • Monday to Friday with overtime available
