Job Description

Wilshire Boulevard Temple (WBT) is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HRIS Analyst with a strong background in Paycom to join our HR team. This position will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting our Human Resource Information System (HRIS), with a focus on ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of Paycom. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of HRIS processes, data analytics, and reporting, and will work closely with the HR and IT teams to streamline HR processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance the overall employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

HRIS Management & Maintenance:

○ Manage the day-to-day administration and configuration of the Paycom HRIS platform.

○ Ensure accurate and timely entry of employee data, including payroll, benefits, performance, and compliance information.

○ Troubleshoot and resolve HRIS system issues and escalate technical concerns to the IT team when needed.

System Optimization & Reporting:

○ Leverage Paycom’s reporting and analytics tools to generate customized reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights into HR metrics, such as payroll, employee performance, headcount, and turnover.

○ Optimize system processes to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and automate repetitive tasks.

○ Provide recommendations for system enhancements to HR leadership based on data trends and employee needs.

Payroll & Benefits Integration:

○ Ensure accurate and timely integration of payroll, benefits, and time and attendance data within Paycom.

○ Collaborate with the payroll team to resolve discrepancies and assist with payroll processing, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations and company policies.

User Support & Training:

○ Serve as the main point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries from HR team members and employees.

○ Train HR staff and end-users on how to effectively use Paycom features, tools, and self-service modules.

○ Document system processes, workflows, and best practices to ensure consistency across the organization.

Data Integrity & Compliance:

○ Maintain data integrity across the HRIS by conducting regular audits and ensuring the accuracy of employee records.

○ Assist with compliance-related tasks, ensuring that the HRIS complies with federal, state, and local regulations regarding HR, payroll, and employee data management.

System Upgrades & Implementations:

○ Support system upgrades, patches, and releases by testing functionality and ensuring that the HRIS system operates smoothly post-upgrade.

○ Lead or support HRIS-related projects, such as system migrations, module implementations, or process improvements.

Collaboration:

○ Work closely with the HR, IT, Finance, and other business units to ensure smooth integration of Paycom with other internal systems (e.g., accounting, time tracking, talent management tools).

○ Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and work to implement solutions to meet organizational goals.

Qualifications:

Education:

○ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

○ 3-5 years of experience in an HRIS role, with a strong focus on Paycom or similar HRIS systems.

○ Solid experience with HRIS configuration, reporting, and data analysis.

○ Experience with payroll and benefits integration, as well as compliance requirements related to HRIS systems.

Skills & Competencies:

○ Proficiency in Paycom, including its core modules (HR, payroll, time and attendance, benefits, etc.).

○ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.

○ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

○ Experience in managing and configuring HRIS systems and developing custom reports.

○ Knowledge of HR-related laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ACA, EEOC) and how they impact HRIS processes.

○ Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

○ Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Paycom Certification or similar HRIS-related certifications.

● Knowledge of additional HRIS platforms or HR technologies.

● Experience working in a high-growth or complex organizational environment.

● Familiarity with data privacy and security best practices related to employee data.

Working Conditions:

● This is a full-time position, with typical office hours 830 am to 5pm

● Hybrid options are available, from time to time depending on department needs.

● Occasional evening or weekend work may be required during system upgrades or project deadlines.
