Marina Lounge in Suisun City, CA is looking for one host/hostess to join our 10 person strong team. We are located on 700 Main St Suite 106. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and hard-working.

Job Summary:

Marina Lounge Restaurant & Bar is seeking a friendly and professional  Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a warm personality, and the ability to manage reservations efficiently. As a Hostess, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring guests have an exceptional dining experience from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Reception & Seating: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage waitlists, and escort them to their tables while ensuring seating arrangements align with reservations and walk-ins.
• Reservations Management: Handle phone and online reservations, maintain an organized seating chart, and effectively manage table turnovers.
• Customer Service Excellence: Provide outstanding hospitality by answering guest inquiries, accommodating special requests, and offering menu recommendations.
• Coordination with Staff: Communicate with servers, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth service and optimal table flow.
• Ambience Maintenance: Keep the entrance, waiting area, and host stand clean and organized. Monitor dining room aesthetics, such as lighting and music, to enhance the guest experience.
• Guest Relations: Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism, escalating issues to the manager when necessary.
• Upselling & Promotions: Inform guests about specials, happy hours, or upcoming events at Marina Lounge.
• Compliance & Safety: Follow restaurant policies, health, and safety guidelines to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior experience as a hostess, receptionist, or in a similar customer service role preferred.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Appearance: Professional and well-groomed presentation.
• Personality: Friendly, outgoing, and confident in engaging with guests.
• Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with reservation systems and basic POS software is a plus.
• Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
