HHP Inc., a leader in the forestry industry, is seeking a dedicated Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Henniker, NH. This full-time, on-site position is based in our well-equipped garage, supporting a diverse fleet of tractor trailers and specialized forestry equipment. Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine service on trucks, trailers, and heavy/forestry equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
• Conduct scheduled maintenance, including oil changes, brake work, drivetrains, and engine service
• Repair or replace components on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment as needed
• Carry out welding, fabrication, and structural repairs
• Maintain accurate service records, complete work orders, and submit time sheets
• Monitor inventory and communicate parts needs to the Maintenance Supervisor
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment by following all company safety procedures
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, including occasional field service calls
• Work with equipment brands such as Western Star, Volvo, John Deere, Hood, and forklifts

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver’s license
• 1–3 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment or Diesel Technician
• Strong mechanical knowledge, including hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems
• Ability to read technical manuals and follow service procedures
• Commitment to safety, reliability, and attention to detail
• Must provide own tools

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Weekends as needed)
