Job Description

The Goddess and Grocer is seeking a creative and collaborative graphic designer and expert. In this fast-paced role, you will create, design, and maintain dynamic marketing collateral and support the overall sales and marketing initiatives for our stores, catering and other (ad)ventures.

Top contenders for this position will have a strong grasp of composition and layout with the ability to take creative direction and run with it. A successful candidate will become intimately familiar with the design aesthetic while working within brand standards.

• Create design solutions for ads, social assets, newsletters, blogs, menus and web assets using the Goddess branding and other inspirations.
• Ability to concept and create designs based on goals and strategies
• Work simultaneously on projects of wide varying design requirements.
• Knowledgeable in file output and preparation for print or web.

• Creates, edits, designs, and keeps our websites updated and always looking fresh and gorgeous.
• Code design experience preferred
• Ability to follow proper SEO technique and be trained on additional methods to get websites into a proper ranking foundation.
• Collaborates with owner and COO with ideas for creative strategies, web design/layout, to support marketing campaigns and storytelling.

Qualifications

• Efficient and knowledgeable in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro DC, InDesign and Lightroom.
• Two to four years of experience in graphic and website design. A self-starter who is detail oriented and deadline driven.
• Prior social media and/or marketing experience is a big plus plus
