Established in 2002, Children's Therapy Services is locally owned, located in Overland Park and Mission, Kansas. Children's Therapy Services has provided speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, sensory therapy, social skills instruction, early reading skills, dyslexia intervention, parent education, and Autism and ADHD evaluations to over 10,000 families in the Kansas City Metro.

Our mission is to maximize the potential of children by providing individualized, family-centered education and intervention services.

Qualifications include:

• Basic computer skills with the ability to learn an EMR program quickly
• Personable and able to communicate well with families and therapists
• Fast learner with ability to take initiative to grow skills 
• Punctual and able to meet timelines
• Ability to multitask
• Willingness to adapt and help as needed 
• Ability to grasp extensive knowledge about the medical office and services we provide

We are looking for a team member that works well with our staff, families, and wants to help our company succeed! We want an employee who is want to be part of our team for the foreseeable future! Our team is close to each other and being able to join our group dynamic is important! 

This position is full time, in person, Monday (7:45-5), Tuesday-Thurs (8-5), and Friday (8:00-12) at our Overland Park office. 

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greeting clients and welcoming them to our office 
• Ensuring patients have intake paperwork completed
• Calling patients to remind of appointments and schedule changes
• Enforcing clinic policies to parents
• Answer calls and scheduling patients
• Collecting patient payments
• Verifying patient's insurance benefits 
• Light cleaning of office 
• Helping therapists as needed with organization and clients

Preference to applicants with medical billing or medical office experience and Spanish/English skills

Starting rate is $18 per hour
