Position Title: Fuel Economy Engineer

Location: Dearborn, Michigan

Status: Contract
Status: 100% onsite

Pay Rate Range: US $35 - US $37.00 per hour

Requirements / Who we are looking for:

• BS in Engineering or related field
• Fuel Economy homologation and compliance experience

Performance Objectives / What you'll be doing:

• Develop and maintain project work plans including status updates
• Coordinate with activities regarding prototype vehicle and part requirements and availability
• Support communication and confirmation of vehicle instrumentation requirements
• oordinate with proving ground to execute vehicle mileage break-in
• Perform fuel economy testing:
• Test request generation
• Data analysis
• Coordinating vehicle updates, reflashes and/or troubleshooting as required
• Cross-functional meeting support as required
• Coordinate catalyst bench aging
• Compile and submit test and supporting documentation to EPA as needed or required
• Support any EPA confirmatory testing
