As a n essential part of the Food and Beverage department, you’ll work with the T raining team ! Here, you will be responsible for conducting training classes for all new associates, as well as returning associates .

Job Status/Type: Seasonal

Position Level: Trainer

Shift/Schedule Requirements: Ability to work various shifts and days including nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.

Typical Work Schedule

• 3 – 5 days a week
• Shifts c an vary based on business needs and holidays

Positions are currently available for those who are 16 or older.

Responsibilities:

As a part of the Carowinds F&B Training team, y our daily assigned duties would be as follows :

• Trains seasonal associates at all levels.

• Reports staffing updates to department leadership team.

• Administer ServSafe Safe Food Handler course upon associate completion of Orientation.

• Administer ServSafe Safe Alcohol course upon associate completion of Department Training.

• Conduct Associate training according to the guidelines provided.

• Will approve all shifts related to associate training, which will include input if necessary.

• Update associate records with training information immediately upon completion of trainings .

• Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications:

• Must pass ServSafe: Food Handler, Food Manager, and ABC courses as well as obtain the status of proctor and instructor for the food courses
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to learn other software programs
• Must possess communication skills and comfortable with public speaking
