Fast Hole EDM Machine Operators

Essential Duties:

1. Analyzes and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications.
2. Operates multiple EDM machines when required.
3. Take apart, clean, and rebuild tooling after completed production runs.
4. Knowledge of rotary/linear axes and G and M codes
5. Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications, using precision measuring tools such as pin gauges, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, borescopes and more.
6. Documents actions by updating control charts, travelers, and reporting labor in the ERP system.
7. Focuses and concentrates on the task at hand without being distracted.
8. Maintains continuity among shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
9. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous conventional machining experience preferred but not required
• Have basic mechanical and mathematical skills
• Manufacturing experience a plus
• Must be a United States Citizen, or a US Permanent Resident

Physical Requirements

• Lift, push and/or pull up to 45 pounds occasionally
• Stand at least 95% of scheduled shift
• Routinely perform reaching, twisting, bending, and grasping to move and set tools, equipment, and materials
• Drug-Free Workplace and conducts pre-employment drug and background screening and random drug screening
