Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Executive Chef 2 for Saint Anne's Hospital located in Fall River, MA. The Executive Chef will oversee a team of approximately 15 culinarians serving patient meals, and cafeteria retail. In this role you will be a part of the Sodexo management team, reporting to the Food GM. The schedule for this role is approximately 6:30am - 3:30pm, Monday-Friday. Your role will be about 50% hands-on chef responsibility and 50% leadership/administrative related.

Saint Anne's Hospital a full-service, acute care Catholic hospital with 211 beds and satellites in Attleboro,Swansea, Dartmouth, and New Bedford, Massachusetts. The hospital provides nationally recognized patientand family-centered inpatient and outpatient clinical services.

What You'll Do

• implement and maintain processes and safety standards for the food services team
• maintain food and health & safety logs within Sodexo and hospital guidelines and requirements
• effectively coach, mentor, and train staff
• prepare orders and maintain appropriate inventory
• bring innovative and fresh ideas for retail, catering and patient services
• cultivate effective interpersonal relationships with patients, customers, and clients in hospital

What You Bring

• strong culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends;
• excellent leadership and communication skills
• high end catering and dining experience and a passion for culinary arts
• a production culinary background, ideally in a fast paced environment: up-scale restaurant/retail/catering
• culinary training and certifications/education is a plus

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
