Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized academic instruction and support for students with IEPs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Differentiate instruction to meet a range of learning needs
• Collect data and monitor progress toward IEP goals
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom culture
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and site administrators
• Communicate regularly with families and ensure compliance with special education timelines
• Support behavioral interventions and social-emotional learning as needed
• Use appropriate technology and assistive tools to enhance student access to curriculum

Qualifications:

• Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential Mild/Moderate Support Needs or Moderate/Severe Support Needs (Clear or Preliminary)
• English Learner Authorization (CLAD or equivalent)
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
