Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in all clinical procedures, ensure optimal patient care, and maintain a clean and efficient work environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including exams, fillings, crowns, and extractions.

  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.

  • Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.

  • Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures.

  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

  • Manage inventory and restock supplies as necessary.

  • Adhere to infection control and safety procedures.

  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting from an accredited program.

  • State-required licenses or certifications (if applicable).

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.

  • Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques.

  • Proficiency in taking and processing dental X-rays.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Experience with dental software and electronic health records is a plus.
