Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Location Houston, TX :

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial concepts and demonstrate proficiency in various accounting software, including Mircosoft. This role is essential for maintaining the financial integrity of our organization through accurate financial statement preparation, effective financial management, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Duties

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Manage accounts receivable and perform journal entries to maintain accurate records.
  • Oversee general ledger accounting and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
  • Conduct cash flow analysis to support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets to optimize financial performance.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and support for complex financial issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is required.
  • Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including budgeting, cash flow analysis, and general ledger accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft or similar accounting software is preferred.
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and performing technical accounting tasks.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
