THE ROLE

The Business Intelligence Analyst will support multiple accounts across a key vertical of Legends Hospitality supporting our concessions, retail, and operations leaders. Working side-by-side with site leadership and Legends IQ, this role will spearhead the delivery of business intelligence to our operators and partners in and around the venue. Further, this role drives the insight and adoption of best-in-class Legends IQ Business Intelligence trends and innovation.

Essential Functions

  • Deliver IQ business intelligence and analytics services to in-venue stakeholders:
    • Develop specific venue knowledge, including physical configuration, proposed technology, and operational processes.
    • Leverage reporting (heat maps, dashboards, presentations, status updates) standards and formats for partner and operator end-use.
    • Support monthly business and post-event reviews to share performance updates and identify opportunities.
    • Develop and deploy optimal pricing, product, placement, and promotion strategies for concessions and premium points of distribution based on team objectives and fan feedback.
    • Partner with Legends IQ to bring subject matter expertise across Audience Insights, Modeling Insights, Data Visualization, Strategic Insights, and Data Engineering to drive consistent and scalable outcomes.
    • Identify opportunities to change existing product offerings or distribution.
    • Communicate key guest insights and potential action items.
    • Analyze and build optimal solutions around variable labor and cost of sales management.

  • Support best-in-class data governance to in-venue management team through data audit, upgrades, and management trainings.
  • Fulfill ad hoc, ongoing reporting needs and analyses:
    • Support or directly complete ad-hoc analytics projects as needed or required.
  • Manage relationships with key clients and Legends stakeholders, particularly private events leadership, to understand their strategies and business objectives.
  • Support strategy development of new technology initiatives in cooperation with the client’s Business Intelligence team.
  • Lead monthly business review process to share performance updates and opportunities.
Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements below represent knowledge, skill, and ability.

  • Between 1-3 years of experience in quantitative, analytical consulting, and/or client-facing businesses, as well as experience interacting with internal organizational leadership.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or master’s degree in business analytics, statistics, economics, or a related field.
  • Self-starter who is eager to learn the business and drive insights.
  • Ability to develop and own stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a consultative role.
  • Experience communicating complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience using Excel, SQL, R, Python, and/or Tableau for data analysis.
  • Can share examples of using data to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation

Competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 commensurate with experience and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
