Job Summary: The Body Shop Estimator at Wheelers of Marshfield is a vital member of our auto industry team. This full-time, individual contributor role is responsible for accurately estimating the cost of repairs for damaged vehicles and ensuring a smooth and efficient repair process. Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time, salaried position with competitive pay and benefits. • Accurately assess the extent of vehicle damage and determine the necessary repairs
• Provide detailed and accurate estimates for repair costs using industry standards and guidelines
• Collaborate with insurance companies to obtain necessary approvals and ensure timely payment
• Communicate effectively with customers, keeping them informed on the status of their vehicle repairs
• Review and adjust estimates as needed based on additional damage or changes in repair plans
• Monitor workshop schedule to ensure timely completion of repairs
• Ensure the proper use and care of all tools and equipment

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as an Auto Body Estimator
• Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and processes
• Ability to read and understand damage reports and repair estimates
• Familiarity with insurance guidelines and procedures
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• I-CAR or ASE certification is preferred
• Proficiency in using estimating software is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
