Description
The Assistant Destinations Experience Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless tour operations onboard. Responsibilities include coordinating with tour operators, collaborating with the Senior Concierge, managing tour sales, and optimizing inventory. This role also involves overseeing the Destination department's schedule, arranging shuttle bus and hospitality services, and liaising with all relevant departments to ensure the successful delivery of the yacht’s tour program.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the Lady or Gentleman for this job. Maintain clear communication with all Tour Operators and coordinate tour dispatch with the team.; Collaborate with the Senior Concierge to ensure the smooth delivery of shore collections and private arrangements.; Manage tour sales, monitor inventory, and maximize revenue opportunities while minimizing penalties.; Manage the schedule for the Destination department to optimize operational efficiency.; Arrange shuttle bus services and local hospitality services for guest convenience.; Liaise with the Ground Operator to confirm departure transportation manifest.; Create and distribute letters for private arrangements, ensuring clear communication.; Work with the team to prepare an engaging Port Talk Presentation for guests.; Print and distribute shore collection tickets and booking forms.; Create reports and take responsibility for invoice reconciliation.; Audit inventory software regularly to identify and resolve discrepancies.
; Qualifications
Valid Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) and flag certification for the duration of the contract and appropriate to position; Minimum five (5) years of concierge and/or onboard shore excursion experience or relevant, demonstrating a successful track record of managing and driving a team; Extensive knowledge of port and tour operations preferably in the luxury market segment; Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, crucial for creating clear and informative documentation.

The Lady or Gentleman must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.; All Yacht Ladies and Gentlemen must be physically able to participate in emergency lifesaving procedures and drills. Full use and range of arms and legs as well as full visual, verbal and hearing abilities are required to receive and give instructions in the event of an emergency including the lowering of lifeboats. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.; All Yacht Ladies and Gentlemen must be able to communicate in the English language in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, supervisors and co-workers.;
Candidates are expected to work on board an international cruise ship.
