Job Summary
Sanofi's contingent workforce program, FLEXT Direct, is seeking an Administrative Assistant for a 12-month contract in the Genomic Medicine Unit - Chemistry Manufacturing & Control (CMC) development organization. The successful candidate will provide organizational, operational, and administrative support to the GMU CMC team in Waltham, MA, reporting directly to the Global Head of GMU CMC.
Responsibilities
Proactively manage calendars, communications, travel arrangements, and expense reports for the Global Head of GMU CMC and Synthetics CMC Development.
Plan and facilitate on-site/off-site meetings with internal/external stakeholders.
Coordinate administrative aspects of invited seminar speakers and manage GMU CMC SharePoints/Teams.
Assist in managing distribution lists, travel arrangements, recruitment activities, and day-to-day operations.
Conduct ad hoc initiatives for the GMU CMC Group and ensure confidentiality in all business transactions.
Skills
Minimum of five years of administrative experience in an office/lab setting with a Bachelor’s degree.
Strong proactiveness, prioritization skills, ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common intranet communication tools; knowledge of teleconference tools like Zoom or Teams.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills with discretion and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Effective interpersonal skills to build rapport with associates, senior management, stakeholders, and external contacts.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of five years of administrative experience
