We currently have a full-time Administrative Assistant opening in Asheville, NC / North Carolina. Broad River Rehabilitation partners with skilled nursing and assisted living facilities to provide exceptional physical, occupational and speech therapy services. The Human Resources Administration Assistant will perform administrative duties related to the operations of the human resource office for Broad River Rehab. Location: Corporate Office in Asheville NC Duties/Responsibilities: Provides extensive clerical and data entry support to the HR Department. May receive and distribute office mail. Schedule and organize appointments; take minutes during departmental meetings. Proofreads and type documents and correspondence produced by department. Processes required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters. May assist with preparation of human resource reports such as attendance, new hire, and turnover reports. Prepare purchase orders for the human resource office. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures. Ability to operate general office equipment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Ability to maintain confidential information. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Administrative experience required. Two years of administrative assistant experience preferred. Experience with HR regulations and policies preferred. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
